We offer a £49 Fixed fee for the installation of electrical domestic appliances. this includes built in ovens and hobs, freestanding washing machines, dishwashers and freestanding cookers.

In January 2003 the EU published the Waste Electronic & Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
The aim of the new legislation is to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfill, & to encourage recycling & re-use.
In December 2006 UK WEEE legislation was approved by Parliament & it came into full force in July 2007.
The new WEEE Regulations make business users, manufacturers & retailers of electrical & electronics equipment responsible for ensuring their goods do not end up in landfill or incineration, where the toxic chemicals, metals, plastics etc. can cause environmental & health problems.
The 10 categories of WEEE are as follows:-

Hazardous Waste Regulations.
From the 16th July 2005, changes to the Landfill Directive & Special Waste Regulations mean that certain items  are now classified as Hazardous Waste & are prohibited from landfills. Only licensed contractors are able to remove Hazardous Waste, & the site producing the waste must be registered with the Environment Agency before a collection can take place.
Organisations have a Duty of Care to ensure that wastes are consigned to registered carriers and are properly stored & disposed of at appropriately licensed facilities. Directors, managers & other employees who deal with environmental waste matters can all be held liable & face fines & imprisonment if laws are broken.
